Early Finishers, Freebies, and a SALE!

Greetings friends. Happy end of football season day! Can you tell that I am over it. Haha! Um, no I really have no idea who is playing in the big game tonight. I’m sure if hubs is reading this, he is shaking his head in pure disappointment. Oh well! I plan on sitting and “fake watching” the game with hubs tonight while enjoying the snacks and commercials. While “fake watching” I need to do lesson plans and work on my next unit. J I’m not exactly sure what that will be yet though. 

I uploaded my February Early Finishers Tub while you were sleeping last night. I’m thinking it was 2:00 a.m. I was determined to get it done so everyone could get it in the big sale. I plan to make these for every month so if you have requests let me know.

Creating an Early Finishers Tub was the best thing I have ever done for my students (and myself). Now when students finish early, there are activities ready to go for them and peace can be maintained while others are still working. In the set, there is a guide as to how I set my tub up and introductions for the activities. I keep about a dozen containers and folders in my tub for each month. That is enough for half of my class (but some are partner activities too). These are activities that can be done over and over, interdependently or with a partner, and quietly. Most importantly, learning has continued after they have finished their current assignments. As always, here is a freebie from this set.My kids love dice games! Just click the pic to grab it!

 Um, I have 92 items on my wish list. Craziness! I did our taxes yesterday and I spent my car payment times three on clipart last year. Geez Louise! But, in my defense I NEED cute stuff! *wink wink…right guys?
