For constitution day, we read We The Kids and watched Charlie Brown’s The Birth of The Constitution. We wrote our own preamble for our class based upon the book. I was very impressed with what they came up with. How do you teach your little friends about the constitution?
Update: Since writing this blog post, I decided to create my own Constitution & US symbols unit. I just wasn't finding what I wanted to use in my classroom so I created it. My students love everything about this unit too! You can check it out by clicking here or any of the pictures below!
