'Tis the Season for a FREEBIE!

It’s a holiday season, and bloop de blue and blah be de blahI really don’t know how that song goes but I find myself singing it a lot! I wore my tacky sweater shirt on Wednesday. It was worth my jean day. I have to tackle the task of report card testing this week. Boo! Don’t get me wrong, I love not taking grades every day but report card testing especially before a holiday is the pits. Note to self: wear big girl panties tomorrow! ANDI have morning duty this week!! Triple BOO!!! I have a hard time getting to school early but the one week I have to be at school earlier than early each six weeks is like World War 3 at my house. Lots of screaming, throwing things (not really), growling going on. Yuck!

On the brighter side, I am totally excited about doing a Secret Santa at work this week...Ok, that sounded naughty, I mean participating in secret santa this week.  I think that will help my survival. I obviously don’t know who got me, but I am totally excited about who I got. I’m going to have fun with this. Bwha ha haaaa! (Insert evil laugh). No, I am not a naughty elf, but a little fun never hurt anyoneor does it? J

Confession timeI really don’t want to go to school this week because it’s the last week before the break which means there will be baked goods everywhere you look. Ugh! I am three pounds away from losing 40 lbs (can you believe it?!) and I don’t want to go to school because I want to stay far away from fudge, holiday cookies (ohhh, my favorite), candy canes, and everything else that will be thrown our way this week. Not that I am not grateful because I totally am but people these hips don’t lie and they are telling you to keep your baking to yourself and save your sugar for your kids! HAHA!

Did I mention that my family has been a HOT MESS the past two weeks? Yes, passing around strep throat and a stomach virus? UGH! I feel like a dog chasing its tailso BEHIND on everything. I.don’t.like.it.one.bit! Please forgive me for neglecting my little ole’ blog so much this month. J You know I heart you more than chocolate (but that’s only because I am trying to count calories though, haha!)! Okay, this is beginning to sound like a therapy session. The only reason I have time to write this post is because I type a gazillion words a minute. J Just wanted to pop by and say I hope you are surviving the December madness, and tell you how much I appreciate you, and hope you have a fantabulous week! Leave me a comment to let me know you're still alive and that this here microphone is still on! J

  1. I love your funny post Crystal! I hope you survive this week of going in early for duty and report card testing. It does not sound like fun at all! Stay strong and far away from the Holiday treats (I am having trouble with that one!) and have fun with your Secret Santa!
    Thanks for the snowmen freebies!

  4. I know exactly how you feel. This week I have 31 parent conferences. I am so over all the assessments we do with 5 year olds. Why do you test right before winter break? When do you do report cards? You poor thing. Bring lunch and do not leave the room to get treats. Stay away from the lounge. Bad stuff happens in there!

  5. Oh WOW Fran, that is a lot of conferences! We are report card testing right now. Report cards go out two days after we get back from winter break so we have to get testing done now. Thanks for making me smile. :)

  7. Congrats on the almost 40 pounds! That's amazing!

I avoided the staff room as much as I could today in the building I subbed because they had a table of naughty food and I have weigh in tomorrow lol.
