It’s Superbowl Sunday and is it terrible that I don’t care?! Seriously, I have no idea who is playing. I usually watch for the commercials but last year I didn't even do that. I probably will this year because hubs has invited peeps over and I am sure he will have a list of
Each student colored their tuxedo and picked a wedding dress out of a bridal magazine. We glued the QU heads on them and attached them to popsicle sticks.
We made invitations and also had a program that I read for the ceremony. Students held up their Q and U. I played wedding music and we all participated. When we were done, we colored this sheet and drew a picture of what we would give QU as a wedding gift.  These were two of my favorites. This child said she would give them a "Kid" as their wedding present. Hilarious! Another said "money". Note to self: Invite her to celebration. She's got cash! HAHA!
We had a great time and I think they will never forget that you “Never write q without u!”
At last….Here is my Valentine Unit. It is 68 pages of sweet fun. I think it is my favorite unit that I have created. I usually create everything in Word but this time I used Powerpoint and it was easier for me to create fun games. I hope you love it!
It is on sale this week for $5. Here is a sneak peek!
As always, here is a freebie because I heart you!! Click the pictures to download.
So, who is watching the big game today? Who is playing (haha)? Who ya rooting for? Also, I have been tagged several times and will answer some of your questions hopefully tomorrow. Fingers crossed I don’t have to fake watch the game tomorrow. Thanks for you get well wishes. I feel like I have been complaining too much lately. Sorry!

I love your wedding!! so smart. I also have no idea who is playing, though I promised my husband and kids I'd watch. (I'd rather attend the wedding of two letters, personally!!)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever had a kid respond to this unit with an exception? I play scrabble with my 1st grade daughter and seh knows how to play words like QAT. Hopefully she wont get in a fight with any teachers about that!!
