Cheers to a NEW YEAR & a FREEBIE hop!

Can you believe 2013 has come and gone? What.A.Year.
I swear, the older I get the faster the years just fly by. I am not okay with that.  Christmas is my favorite time of year and it just flewww by! I did take down all of my holiday decorations last weekend but luckily Hallmark is still playing Christmas movies, which makes me happy. I am sure today is the end of that though. Sadsville.

Moving on.  If you read my recap from 2013, you know it has been a doozie.  I am totally ready to conquer 2014.  Actually, I started my “new me” on Sunday, December 29th.  I went back to the gym and clean eating. I am on day four now and going strong.  I thought if I could get a full week of working out and clean eating under my belt before returning to school, it would definitely help me. I didn’t need to wait until MONDAY and I didn’t  need to start on the 1st. It was one of those wake up and today is the day kinda situations. J

My friends at Freebielicious and I want to share some of our goals and resolutions for 2014 with you! To help you get a jump start on the New Year, we've also added some freebies that may help you reach your own similar goals.

I never really set resolutions. I just set goals. I went back to read my post for one year ago with my goals for 2013.  Welll…I didn’t do many pinterest projects, I didn’t meet my educational goal, I did lose more weight but gained it back the last few months, but I *think* I did blog more. So, technically it could be considered an epic fail because I did not meet my goals but I don’t feel like that. Don’t wrap yourself in fears of failure.  I had a really great year filled with things I would have never imagined. I can’t let myself get lost in the could of’s, should of’s, and would of’s. It is what it is. I only have control of today and tomorrow.

So my ONLY goal for 2014….

For my freebie, I created these encouraging images. Print them out, frame them and put them at home, school, the refrigerator, where ever you need to. Click the images to download them. :)

You can be your worst enemy. I know I am way harder on myself than anyone else can be. I am the only one calling myself a failure when I feel inadequate. The flip side of that is that I can be my biggest encourager too. I can choose ME! I can choose to be healthy, give my best effort and not give up. When I feel defeated, I can choose to start a new tomorrow. You have all the power you need to be the person you want to be. I am saying this for myself too. I like to go back and read my old posts when I am at my strongest to remind myself of what I really want.

Happy New Year friends. I big puffy heart LOVE you. I appreciate how my life has changed because of the friendships I have made through blogging. I know God has great plans for 2014. Buckle up peeps and enjoy the ride!
