Thankful!

Happy THANKSgiving! I feel blessed beyond blessed to share my life with you each week. It’s often a hot mess but it’s my mess and I love it! I believe that everything happens for a reason, God’s plan is perfect, and he has given me this jewel of a blog to expand my friendships and make connections with others in a way I never thought possible. You never know what God has in store for you friends. If he opens a door, walk through it. Who care if you fall on your face from time to time? I’m just thankful for the journey!

Yesterday I took my kids to see Catching Fire (I have three teens, remember?). Well, it was sold out. Epic fail! So, we saw FROZEN instead. Totally other end of the spectrum but I’m a Disney girl. It was GREAT! Seriously, go see it!! I did promise my disappointed sweet teenagers that we would see CF this weekend for sure though.

I cooked last night and I cooked this morning. My oven keeps shutting off on its own randomly so I hope that this bird and the sweet potatoes are cooked by time everyone gets here. No one wants a cold turkey! Did I also mention that my heater is also temperamental? Yeah, it only comes on when it feels like it. Are we surprised? No. We put the fun in dysFUNctional people.

We always have Thanksgiving at my house because my husband works every Thanksgiving. He runs a grocery store and gives his managers the day off. In return, he takes off Friday and Saturday, which is really nice because he works every Saturday. Make sure you tell your grocery peeps thanks because those people work hard doing more then you will ever know and deal with whackadoodles all day long, especially during the holiday season.

Are you black Friday shopping? I haven’t decided yet. With three teens, they all want something big. I told them that this means there may only be three presents under the tree this year and they are cools with that. I secretly kinda miss the crazy shopping I did when they were younger. My sister and I were like Special Ops, on a SERIOUS mission lol. Now our kids are boring and want a computer or even worse, a gift card. No thrill in that people. None.

No matter where you shop, don’t miss the deals in my store too!
In honor of Black Friday, I am joining a whole bunch of my blogging buddies, and putting myentire teaching store on sale on Friday, November 29!

On Friday only, you can save 20% off of every single product in my storeHowever, if you want to hold out until Monday and Tuesday, you can save 28% off of everything in my store because Teachers Pay Teachers is having a Cyber Monday (and Tuesday) sale! Everything in my store will be 20% off on Monday and Tuesday and Teachers Pay Teachers is offering an additional 10% off, which actually comes out to a savings of 28%! Make sure you use the code CYBER when you check out to get the extra savings.

That is a lot of information! Clear as mud huh?!

Let's recap. Nothing wrong with cliff notes when you see squirrels everywhere. Anyway, You can shop on Friday and save 20%, or shop on Monday and Tuesday, and save 28%. The choice is yours! J

Here are a few holiday goodies and new products I have in my store.

  1. I just LOVE your posts! You are just sooo real! I teach at a small, private school...so I have no other kinder-peeps to chat with... or brainstorm with! I live happily in my cyber, blogging-buddy world to stay kinder-connected! Just today as I was turning my classroom entrance into a gingerbread house...I was thinking I should do my next blog post on my "virtual k-team" and photo-shop in a pic of you and a few other blogging buddies! LOL Instead...it was just me using an extra roll of bulletin board paper to reach things I was too short to tape up and reach! LOL I laughed out loud at myself! Anyways...thanks for your inspiration... and sharing real life!
